Motorcycle transportation case from Russia to France after accident

In August 2018, Savitar Group received an application for transportation KAWASAKI motorcycle from Russia to France after a crash accident. In the accident the insured person had got a leg injury and was unable to drive his motorcycle. He had to return home by air flight without his bike,

Official procedures required original vehicle’s documents to transport it to France – vehicle pass, driver’s license, insurance policy, as well as the mandatory presence of a driver with an open Schengen visa. This situation was compounded by the fact that the owner of the motorcycle had to show vehicle Import license and pay customs duty himself.

Savitar Group arranged preparation of necessary documents, including notarized power of attorney in two languages for transporting the motorcycle without the presence of a driver, as well as transportation from Russia to France, including motorcycle’s placing at the in intermediate parking lots.
